this game will be awful imo, i dont care about online, i have this game on n64 and theres like no diff.Anyone anticipating batting it out on Po ...
I think it's going to be great.Nintendo has fleshed the game out where it's a stand alone game (as per the newest Nintendo Power) and then the DS ability for some players makes it a not miss. It's the most powerful franchise in gaming right now, I'm sure it's going to do well worldwide.
I'll say what I said in the other thread. I think that game will suck. All you're paying 50 bucks for is battling pokemon 3D with no sort of adventure or anything. Just battling and buying stuff like clothes. The online aspect of it will just be friend codes only. What B.S.

Fighters don't have stories of much worth behind them, it's not an adventure game and no one has even marketed it as an adventure game. It's a fighter.

Maybe but it would get old fast. There is no inscentive to keep playing besides just leveling up your pokemon.

You can unlock new pokemons, which you can pass after to you D/P versions, also you can unlock new costumes for you character, and you have online, thats lots of replay, but as i said before this game is only good if you have the DS versions if not, it would be a waste of money
the game will get a bad score in gamespot trust me it has no mutiplayer no minigames no other feature but battle that it
I never gave a damn about Pokemon, and I never will. I want an enjoyable game to play online that won't make me feel like i'm six.
Pokemon is probably going to be the deepest online game on the Wii or DS for quite some time. If you actually take the time to look past the cute exterior, you find a game with an incredible amount of customization and tactics.
I played Pokemon Red on gameboy and that was enough, there isn't anything that any other generic turn-based game has. The franchise limits itself by churning out cutesy crap that isn't worth the material they're printed on.

Obviously you have no idea how popular the series is with the college student crowd.
thats the problem, pokemon Red does not compare to the newest version, you've gotta give them achance, i also thought they were stupid afetr Silver, and the other day i started playing my old Silver version and i decided to buy the Pearl version, and believe me they are completely different from the odl versions, now it is not just about who has the strongest, you have abilities, traits, natures, etc. Give them a chance and you will see they aren't another kiddy game from nintendo. Although the console version are a bit cr...y, try the portable versions, if you don't like them then stop whining and saying yoou are ''mature'' and stoped playing those game when you were six
The show may be aimed at children, but the games aren't. I'm looking forward to this game. It's going to be fun battling with my Pokemon on the big screen. I'll miss the story a little, but the online should make up for it.
