Storage idea for wii. Pretty sick idea. ...

My idea is to have a blank disk that you insert into the wii, and then you can play games that have too much storage. this disk would play the games that you have downloaded via the virtual console with disk memory space like dreamcast games. Everytime you would want to play a different game, that game would load onto the disk. It is a very cheap way to have storage. Sikkk idea but im not sure if it oculd work, having many disks would make more sense like having a burner, but having just one disk would be sikker.Thoughts**Storage idea for wii. you want the wii to burn VC games on a blank DVD disk?Storage idea for wii. Pretty sick idea. ...
Beleive me, Nintendo wouldn't do that.
Same avatar...very confusing.
Not a good ideaBut good for trying
That is an interesting idea, but I don't think it beats being able to just play the VC games from an SD card. Much more elegant and the hardware is already in place to do it. Just need a firmware update.
The Wii doesn't have burning capablities. It's disc drive is read only. Also, like I said in the other thread, DC games wouldn't work anyways. There isnt enough power for emulation.

Burning the games onto a blank DVD? That sounds a little too easy to pirate. Easy piracy is what killed the Dreamcast!!!!!
Good try. Bad idea.
Except the Wii can only read discs, it wasn't designed to burn them.

The real reason it was discontinued was because Sega ran out of money to support it.

A little similar to the Gameboy Player on the Gamecube.

If I was Nintendo, then I would have a portable hardrive/external hardrive that you can attach via usb cable in the back of the wii. It will have much more space and a great way to expand the wiis capabilities.
