Pretty sure this is old news but in case you hadn't seen or heard it yet, it's pretty interesting... From Wikipedia: ''The worldwide success of the Wii has caught third party developers by surprise, leading to some apologizing for the quality of their early games. In an interview with German news magazine Der Spiegel, Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot and Alain Corre admitted that they had made a mistake in rushing out their launch titles, promising to take future projects more seriously.''The magazine article is in German so I'm unable to read it, but do you think they are referring to Red Steel? If so, it's good to see that they aren't afraid to admit their mistakes, and hopefully, they'll improve their mechanics for the sequel.UbiSoft Apologizes

definately talking about Red Steel and maybe Prince of Persia as well.this is great. if they admit they screwed the pooch on RS then maybe they'll do a much better job with RS2 which has already been announced
They said that in the spring and the Wikipedia article should be the American article where it was said
The best way for them to apologize would be to stop making crummy games.
They said that in the spring and the Wikipedia article should be the American article where it was said
Well if you are right, then I must say this is the sloppiest form of english I've ever come across: www.spiegel.de/netzwelt/spielzeug/0,1518,485385,00.html

i vaguely remember that. i believe EA also made a public apology for the quality of their early Wii games.
Well they still are messing up. People cant find a copy of NMH even though this is the second week is sold out.
They had to apologize, Red Steel was one of the most disappointing games in 2006. Even though they released many games when the Wii came out, most of those weren't so good.
Well they still are messing up. They take a small number of games from a publisher and wont increase that order until their sales numbers come in, not the video game industry numbers but their own store numbers come in.
If people are buying NMH stores will keep stocking it. Most of this stuff is computerized nowadays.

Red Stell was a lot of fun, but it was too bad they rushed it. It's sad when you consider that if they had taken their time theoy could have had an amazing game. As for PoP, I rented it, and it was just a cheap port. I couldn't believe they charged $50 for an old game with some motion controls. There were no added features, and no graphical improvement. Hopefully if they release the new PoP for the Wii, they will do a better job. Far Cry, however, was total garbage! Even then I played through quite a bit of the game.
if they want to apologize they can do better with RS2 AND ADVERTISE NO MORE HEROES MORE!
The best way for them to apologize would be to stop making crummy games.
yeah
They better RECKANIZE! lol I'm glad they announced the error of their ways. Hopefully they make a good Red Steel 2.
ExactlyThe stores sees what sells and get more of it
Ya i would agree if we were in the first week. But NMH sold out everywhere again for this week and had almost the same sales. So youd think they get the hint. Had this game been more available it would have sold around 100, 000 the first week.
Very, very old, no offense intended
In an article saying Red Steel 2 was in development, it said it's going to have a better sword fighting system, better controls, better AI, better multiplayer and online play.
I'm actually really looking foward to it, the series has lots of potential and knowing that it won't be rushed is nice.
