What's up with people saying who their m ...

Before you say anything, yes I have read the sticky and this thread isn't really about SSBB. It's about people who say ''These are my main characters'' when they haven't even used them. Anyway, here it goes...spoilers ahead for people that don't know all the chars...I don't understand why people are saying that they are a ''Pit User'' or ''Lucario User'' when they haven't even used them. Sure they could be your favorite video game characters, but you don't know how they control. You actually might hate their moves, how they control, etc. and you won't use them that much. Sure I'm going to try out all of the characters so technically I'll be a ''____ User'' too, but I'm not going to make a sig picture saying that I'm going to use a certain character more than all the others when there could be other characters that I like much better that I didn't expect to be that good. Example: in SSBM, my favorite video game character was Link, but I used Marth most because I liked the way he controlled. So basically I'm just kind of ranting because people are actually lying when they say ''I'm a ____ User'' (unless they have an import copy).I know this thread will most likely be locked in a few hours, but I thought I would post it anyway because it actually isn't very Brawl related. OMG i was just thinking that. And this kind of is brawl related but i see what you mean by also not being brawl related at the same time (if that makes any sense) but you shld've still put this in the sticky just to be safe.
umm your complaning about how people announce there brawl character befreo brawl is release, how is that not brawl related?
It's not Brawl related because it's not necessarily about the game. I'm just asking why people are putting the characters in their sigs when they haven't even played as the character.
Actually, I put this sig up because I've done a considerable amount of...research on Pit and found him to be a great character. Several videos and so on later, I've come to the conclusion that I can pretty much safely say that I will be a Pit user.But I sort of agree with your points. But in the end, why does it even matter?
How is this not brawl related? It's got brawl stuff all over it, in it, around it, even on it. And FYI, some people DO have the game. I just have who I might make my mains on my sig. Most people who call the people there mains probably do have the game.

Now, thanks to people's sigs, I know all of the hidden characters. Fools! :evil:
this is pretty much a Brawl thread
if you wanted to avoid the hidden characters you shouldve avoided the forums altogether...

You have a very good point, but...let's face it is just a sig, i mean is not a big deal (except for the spoilers) when i get the game and if by any chance i'm better with Zelda than with Peach, then i change my sig, then again, i probably will not because i like the character, is just a sig.

i was just saying, no need to be a smartass. It would've been the only definate way to avoid knowing the characters.
