Which name do you like?Wii or Revolution?
Seach for revolution on YahooThen search for WiiWhat results do you get? There's no good reason at all to have kept the name revolutionWii or Revolution?
Hmm...Revolution is not bad...but i prefer the Wii name!
It refers to the word ''WE'' which means that all people (young and old) can play with this console!
That's my opinion...
thought the name ''Wii'' was awful, but i got used to it
Seach for revolution on YahooThen search for WiiWhat results do you get? There's no good reason at all to have kept the name revolution
Sometimes, I wonder if that's what was on King Diamond and his bandmates' minds when they decided to name their band Mercyful Fate, instead of Merciful Fate. Sure, that was 1982 or someting, but we all know King Diamond can see into the future, among other supernatural abilities.
''Wii''. Revolution sounds too unoriginal imo.
Wii - its caught on.
wii. Revolution would have been a bad choice in non english markets.
I like Wii because even though I have plenty of great games for it, the system is hardly revolutionary. (In graphics and sound)
I like Wii a lot better - think of a possible catchphrase for revolution. ''It's a gaming revolution.'' I had enough of that junky jargon after the GC was ''gaming cubed.'' ''Wii would like to play'' is a good deal less fruity, and I'm happy Nintendo made a good choice. Besides: Wii is a lot simpler and shorter.
Revolution sounds like a hard-core, graphically intensive game system, which the Wii isn't. Wii is short, not hard to say, and sounds like a nice, fun system.
My friend said Wii was chosen cuz it sounded like Weed, but I doubt that lol.
Wii is a better name because it is meant to imply ''we'' or ''us'' or the world. The message is that everyone gets together and plays the console.
